Employment Application: Business Manager

Are you an experienced hands-on Business Manager with proven leadership experience in Accounting, HR, IT and Office Management? If so, we need your help.

Job Description:

-Manage the Finance and Accounting, Human Resources, Information Technology and the Business Services departments.    -Direct the overall financial functions, accounting practices, administrative and operational support services for the Company.
-Oversee the accounting and audit activities of the organization and the financial and accounting system controls and standards.
-Develop annual financial budget and forecast with Department Managers and Corporate staff.
-Ensure timely financial and statistical reports for Executive Team use.
-Monitor and analyze monthly operating results against forecast. Identify trends, recommend direction and action to be taken.
-Develop near-term and long-term business plans with Corporate staff.
-Negotiate contracts for corporate insurance, leases and acquisitions.
-Oversee pricing and profitability policies using cost accounting methods and models.
-Contribute as a member of the Companys Executive Board.

Qualifications:

-College degree in Business Administration.  Responsibility as a Controller a plus.
-Proven and demonstrated success as a Business Manager with strong leadership and communication skills with a minimum of eight staff members.                                                                -Demonstrated knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting and cost control principles, including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
-Knowledge in City Code, New Hampshire Revised Statutes, Bankruptcy Code, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and other regulations governing business and regulatory licensing and collection procedures.
-Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections.
-Working knowlege of short and long-term budgeting and forecasting, rolling budgets and product line profitability analysis.
-Hands on working knowledge of Quickbooks, Great Plains general ledger programs, Crystal Report Writer, MS Office.
