Who is General Linen Service Inc?
Founded by Lucien Drolet in 1938, General Linen Service provides the healthcare and hospitality industries with outstanding textile, apparel, and dust control solutions for their clients workplace cleanliness, safety, protection, and image.  General Linen Service operates its state-of-the-art facility in Somersworth, New Hampshire as well as Customer Service Centers in Manchester, New Hampshire and Westbrook, Maine

What will happen to jobs?  Will I still see the same Lakes Region Linen Route person?
The Intent is to provide jobs for all.  For the first few weeks you are likely to see your usual driver along with some new introductions to General Linen Service team members.  In time, all routes will be reassessed for geographic efficiency.  You may see the same driver or be introduced to a new one.


Will I see any changes in my service?
 As we transition, our commitment to your satisfaction will remain the top priority.  Together Lakes Region Linen and General Linen Service carefully planned for uninterrupted delivery of your goods and maintenance of your inventory with similar products, processes, and personalized friendly service.    


Will the Lakes Region Linen 24 hour service hotline remain available?
Yes.

 

Will Lakes Region Linen still operate a facility out of Laconia?
No.  All operations and employees will be based out of General Linen Services’ state-of-the-art headquarters in Somersworth, New Hampshire as well as our service centers in Manchester, New Hampshire and Westbrook, Maine

 

Will you continue to support Lakes Region Linen products?
One of the reasons General Linen Service and Lakes Region Linen are a great fit is because of our compatible product lines.  You may also see broader product choices and new solutions for image, safety and cleanliness in your workplace.

 

What are General Linen Services’ credit terms?
You will see little change in this area.  Charged accounts will continued to be charged accounts and cash accounts will continue to be cash accounts.  General Linen Services Accounts Receivable Department will be happy to can answer any further questions at 1800-582-7209 ext.  6

All customers are strongly encouraged to provide an email address or fax number for their billing representative as we are moving all customers over to our e-billing system in our effort to “Go Green” with a paperless invoicing system.

 

What are the terms of the agreement between General Linen Service and Lakes Region Linen?
