General Linen Service steps up ongoing humanitarian efforts

In response to the catastrophic earthquake, General Linen Service (GLS) has stepped up its ongoing efforts and contributions to the International Medical Equipment Collaborative by donating much needed patient gowns during the crisis in Haiti. Many hospitals and clinics have been destroyed. Hospitals along the Dominican Republic boarder have already begun treating Haitian patients injured in the earthquake. Sam Oliver, Medical Sales Specialist, stated, “our staff are pleased to do whatever we can to help."

Route Managers and Production staff in our service centers, located in Manchester, Somersworth and Westbrook, Maine, are all working together to prepare and deliver clean and sterile patient gowns in an effort to improve health care conditions through humanitarian efforts.”
